"Skilled People. The Right Culture. Serious Operations."
Blue Horizon is looking for experienced maritime professionals who hold themselves to the same standard we do. If you take your work seriously and want to be part of a team that does the same — we want to hear from you.
Register Your InterestWe are an Australian owned and operated marine and offshore services business built on the principle that the quality of our people determines the quality of our operations. We don't do average — and neither do the people we work with.
Every individual matters. We invest in our crew — professionally and personally. Our team is the foundation of every operation we run, and we treat them accordingly.
HSEQ is not a checkbox. We operate to the highest safety standards across every environment — harbour, coastal, remote, and offshore. Your safety is non-negotiable.
We operate in demanding environments — harbour towage, remote marine logistics, offshore oil and gas, and renewable energy projects. This is not routine work. We want professionals who thrive on it.
We are proudly Australian owned and operated. Our leadership team has deep, hands-on experience in Australian maritime operations — and we understand what the work actually demands.
We are building for the long term. That means investing in the professional development of our crew — certifications, progression pathways, and opportunities across our growing operations.
Full compliance with AMSA requirements and STCW standards is a baseline, not an aspiration. Our crew management team handles certification tracking and renewals end-to-end.
We work across harbour, coastal, remote, and offshore environments — and we're always looking for experienced professionals across the disciplines that power our operations.
Master Mariners, Chief Officers, and senior deck officers with experience in harbour towage, coastal operations, or offshore environments. Class V and above. DP certification highly regarded.
Chief Engineers and 2nd Engineers with commercial marine experience. MEC Class 3 and above. Experience in tug, workboat, and offshore support vessel engineering highly valued.
Watchkeeping officers, integrated ratings, and able seamen with commercial vessel experience. STCW compliant. Anchor handling and towing experience an advantage.
Experienced harbour and coastal towage professionals. Masters and officers with tug-specific experience and knowledge of Australian port environments. Linesmen and deck crew also considered.
Offshore-experienced personnel across oil and gas and renewable energy projects. Offshore survival certs, BOSIET, and platform/installation experience. HUET and relevant OPITO certifications required.
Shore-based and operational logistics professionals with experience in remote marine environments. Cargo coordination, transshipment, vessel scheduling, and remote site logistics management.
We are not looking for bodies to fill rosters. We are building a team of professionals who take pride in their work and want to be part of something that stands for more than the average.
Tell us who you are, what you do, and what you're looking for. We review every submission and reach out to candidates whose experience and outlook match our current and upcoming requirements.
All enquiries are handled confidentially. We will not contact your current employer without your explicit permission.
